“To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late, and to be late is to be forgotten” – Elin Hilderbrand
That was one of the first lessons I was taught during freshmen orientation at Spelman College. While punctuality is an area I continue to work on, I can at least make sure I’m always rocking a stylish timepiece. After all, looking cute and knowing what time it is are the first steps to being punctual, right? Or, is that fashionably late? lol
Either way, I was elated when Jord watches reached out to me to do a collaboration. Their timeless timepieces are unique, stylish, and versatile. You are bound to stand out from the crowd wearing their handmade wooden watches. The styles offered range in wood patterns, size, and color of the watch face.
They also make the perfect gift as they offer custom engraving and a beautiful wooden box to keep your timepiece in. Something as precious and unique as a wooden Jord watch must be treated with care. So, Jord also sends a polishing cloth and preserve finishing oil to keep your watch glistening.
Jord was kind enough to send me the “Frankie35” which features zebra wood and a navy face. I absolutely love it! I’m able to rock it from the board room all the way to the bar. So, while I’m still working on that punctuality thing, at least I look good keeping up with the time.
Featured below I went for a casual, bohemian look by paring the watch with a navy and white tie-dye, cold shoulder dress and colorful pompom sandals.
